I'm not worked up, I'm actually entertained and thoroughly enjoying your whine-fest. First you bitched and moaned WILDLY about the Gase hire. Then you bitched and moaned about us not retaining Boyer as Special Teams Coordinator. We did. Then you bitched and moaned about us not getting Williams as Defensive Coordinator. We did. Then you bitched and whined about Loggains (and if that was your only bitching and whining I probably wouldn't have even noticed it) but then you doubled down with a big headlined article that had no substance to support the headline. Now you're bitching and whining about a WR coach you have NEVER heard about and are trying to apply stats taken out of context and/or not tied to causation to crucify the move. I'm sorry, but this shit is funny. And seriously, not worked up at all. I'm actually kind of chill. But carry on getting all worked up yourself lolololol.
"Calmer than you are dude... calmer than you are" I mean Jesus Christ, take a breath. Or take less breaths and form a paragraph. Something. Just calm down. I don't know if you're doing it on purpose and you're trolling or you can't actually comprehend what you're seeing so I don't know how much more I wanna go into this... but I'll just say because you say something has no substance or stats have no context doesn't mean that's true. And in this case, neither are true. But this is your gimmick. I liked you better when you were Stokes tbh.
I hope we can hire all of Miami's offensive powerhouse coaching staff. Offensive Juggernauts, here we come! Sigh... How stupid can you be though? Is this not common sense for people? How does anyone expect to believe Gase has changed, if he is already showing, he has no interest in changing... ? Insanity.
Or simply have a different work/life schedule than you do. I didn't realize your life was the benchmark for all of us.
While I understand the thought behind the decision, I am sorry to see that a thread I started entitled "Dowell Loggains (Flounder) Appreciation Thread" was merged into the general Loggains hiring thread. I had purposely started the new one (which I rarely do) to draw the line between the hiring process and the promise (?) of what is to come. I also chose the title to mirror one I had started when Bates was hired or promoted and I could find nothing in his resume that brought me any satisfaction for the move while others had been. Ditto here. To reiterate - I don't see anything beneficial in this hiring nor do I see even a little bit of the "brightest offensive mind in the building" argument we saw with Bates.
It doesn't seem he is hiring them all though, otherwise he wouldn't be likely to hire Pollack as OL coach. So maybe, he's just hiring the ones he wants and that he thinks could do a good job for the Jets.
@Rollo Tomassi and @BroadwaySam You two are great posters. Posters like you is the reason I came back to TGG ever single day. That said, maybe it is time for you to stop the fight here, cool down and move on. In case you have things left to be said, discuss thru Private Messaging. Please stop the fight. I will re-open the thread after an hour or so. I hope you guys can cool down in the meantime,
I am, in fact, NOT a great poster. And I weepz that I am one of the reasons you come back to TGG every day. I just don't get the whole "everything we do sucks" mentality. We suck, I get it. Folks have their opinion so who am I to question that but if something is trotting out as evidence something that it is clearly not, can I not comment on it? I guess you're going to band me now --which is your prerogative- but I'm not saying anything that others here aren't expressing. Makes the board unreadable. Enjoy.
I won't band you now Rollo. You have a right to comment on what people say of course. Just don't turn it into a pissing match. Sometimes it is OK to have one less word. This is just the internet. Peace.
Geeze, the last CS was horrible, the team played flat uninspired and was totally undisciplined, yet all this bitching about the new staff. IMHO its light years ahead of the last bunch of losers and unless your going to your data analytics to support your positions/suppositions, no offense intended but frankly its just gibberish.
It is what it is. Coaches bring their lackeys. With Bowles it was Rodgers. With Gase it's Loggains. Even good and great coaches have their trusted lieutenants. Overall though this staff is better than it was before. Doesn't mean we've gone from a D/F staff to an A staff...but we have upgraded Gase > Bowles Williams > Rodgers Pollack > Dennison Loggains > Bates (though Loggains won't be calling plays) Dennison was both the O-Line coach and run game coordinator (whatever that means) last season. This season Pollack is just listed as O-Line coach after doing a great job in Cinci. Dennison apparently is still with the Jets (for now)
