I heard someone somewhere mention Braylon could draw interest from NE.

    Now THAT would suck.

C'mon Jets, get him back here. Correct one of last season's mistakes.

As long as he is healthy. I also think they will try and sign him to a deal where he comes away with a mill a year. He will also have to adjust to being back out there catching passes. I remember his first year with us he didn't have as many dropped passes as he did in Cleveland , but I called him Braylon-oopsie-Edwards.

He had a few drops in 2009, if he had any in 2010 it was 1 or 2. he was very sure handed in 2010 but once you get that reputation it's hard to shake.

I can see them going after him. They need a deep threat too.

Ugh, if Braylon goes to NE, that would suck big time.

Nightmare scenario: Braylon signs with New England, and Chad Henne signs with the Jets and becomes our starting QB.

I want BRAY BRAY back. He's the one who should have gotten the big contract in the first place.

He doesn't drop the ball anymore.

Thank you for correcting this. I don't think he had a single drop in '10. I would be so happy if they bring him back. His back flips after beating the Patriots were classic.

Braylon flip was awesome, but in the end it could have injured himself. He should have done a dance in front of the Patriots

If they want him back they should call him immediately when free gency starts. Don't let him feel like he's a plan d if we can't sign the first 8 guys we want. I don't think Braylon will get a multi year offer from anyone. I think the jets could probably give him a two year deal. For a very reasonable price and he would have to take it. If we hold out or a one year deal I could see him going elsewhere.

They don't have to wait for free agency, he was cut.

This is why I don't think he's anything more than a fallback plan. If they wanted him they could have signed him yesterday.

I think it's more about his health and market value. We're not going to sign him until we know that he will make a full recovery, and that he's not demanding too much money (I doubt he is this year).

Maybe they're waiting for a clean bill of health on the recovery?

Braylon wont get much interest from other teams, other than New England, maybe Chicago and Jacksonville

right now I think Rex and co. are setting up a plan to get every guy they want unlike last year when they just went ape shit for Nnamdi and got burned

I think we're 1st trying to clear cap room and then we bring in 4-5 FA's

    Sione Pouha(re-signed)
    Michael Griffin
    Braylon Edwards
    Jarrett Johnson
    Chad Henne

    the rest through the draft

I have a very strong feeling that Braylon will be back in green and white next year. He loved playing here and I can't think of one Jet fan who liked Holmes more than B-Easy. We definitely could've had both of them back (even though Holmes is a complete douche).

I also think they'll bring back Braylon FIRST(providing his knee is 100%) to "get that out of the way"....
