I don’t know for sure but no reason for KO to sign anything that doesn’t include guaranteed money and I’m not sure why mac would want to do that right now. He has 2 years left, play this year and if he plays well you extend him next year while lowering the 2020 cap number. If he doesn’t, cut bait, no dead money.
Just my opinion.

Late to the party, but I feel better about the trade after reading up a little on KO. Pro bowler in 2016 and 2017. Injuries derailed him last season. He went on a diet and lost some weight this offseason. My assumption is that he is in very good shape right now.

If he is terrible and/or gets hurt this season, the jets can cut him after trading down from the 5th round to the 6th round. You really, really can’t hate this move. Even if it doesn’t work out, it was worth the shot.

 

IMO Mac does two things well. He hits on his first rounders and does these crafty late round trades. I am all for getting as many picks as possible, but moving down a round for a quality starting guard is awesome.

 

I don't know. He looks fat to me.

 

Really wanted this guy in FA a couple years ago.
I guess better late than never.

Hopefully he still has his Baltimore form as he was a total stud there.

Love the move and he's determined to come back to his old self and form. Nothing not to like about this. If it works out we got a steal for a fifth and he plays w a mean streak I love. Now if we can sure up the center position so Sam don't have snaps over his head, w him beachum and KO we are working on building something.
