I think the Jets have the talent to be 14-2. Question is can they put it all together and work together as a team? Probably not. Too many ups and downs so 10-6 seems likely to me. Things could go perfect and they finish 14-2 though or things could crash and burn, they go 4-12, and Tanny is out. Maybe Rex too.

last year when we were 5 and 3 all i heard was how it was a lock we finish with 11 or 12 wins.

we arent good enough to really be considered a clear favorite over anyone. our defense is outstanding but our offense is bottom 5 and we we arent great protecting the football. i cant see us going 7-1 over any span. we might have 7 wins TOTAL.

lets work on beating buffallo week 1 before we start thinking about rattling off 7 of 8.

I think there is not only a good chance, I am pretty sure it is already written down somewhere.

I don't understand why everyone assumes this. It's preseason. The only people we lost on offense were Plaxico and LT. Although Plaxico was a great redzone target, Hill is much more of a playmaker between the 20's. LT has always done well catching the ball, but he took a huge step backwards last season. McKnight or Powell will have to step up. This offense has a lot more potential for big plays than last year, especially considering how Sanchez is looking. Let's wait until after the first REAL game, before we start predicting anything.

it doesnt have anythign to do with the preseason for me. it has everything to do with a lack of talent offensively. our pass blocking is at best, average. our skill players are at best, average. we will be starting either a rookie or journeyman at the #2 WRs spot. we lack depth at both WR and HB.

Green and mcknight are underwhelming as a 1-2 combo and our run game has gotten progressively worst the last 3 seasons. we lost our best(only?) red zone threat in plaxico. our quarterback is inconsistent and prone to turn it over.

i just dont see how you can be a run first team with an avg lnie, avg backs, and a subpar passing attack.

id be shocked if we werent bottom 10. and not suprised at all to be bottom 3 or 4.

when it comes down to it, you need talent and game breakers. we have next to none of that
