PS... For all you bashes, which would be everyone on this thread not named me, or Junc, I could be wrong. But Nacho will be taking snaps under center on opening day. Either Junc and I will be eating crow if he sucks several weeks in, or you will. I hope you all will be man enough to admit it if it doesn't go your way. I think most of us would be more than happy if Sanchez suddenly "got it", so the idea that thing didn't "go our way" if he does is off base IMO. Him starting and him doing well are two entirely different things, btw. We saw that this year.
I totally agree. I just think that he's not gotten a fair shake all things considered is all. He's come up big, in big spots and his warts seem to be coaching issues, and HS had two crappy coaches. I at this point don't think the player is the problem. I may be wrong, but I don't think so.
The offense has been worse since Shotty left, It wasnt special when he was here but sanchez has gotten worse without him
The Fact that Sparano sucks more, is not an indictment on the player . Failure to succeed under a proven OC like Mm......is. Go back read the thread That's been my point all other factors considered, the jury is still out...let MM have a year, helll we gave Schitty 3 ...and get an honest evaluation....
I think bringing i MM was a step in the right direction , Sparano had zero experience calling plays MM has been calling plays for a decade plus. So atleast we have a proven play caller at the helm of the offense, and we finally get to leave the ground and pound mentality behind. But you look at all the talent the Eagles had on offense and it makes you wonder why he didn't have more success there

Totally acceptable! Here is your problem though, you look at us nacho blasters as just that and that is where you miss the big picture! We haters don't hate him because you obviously love him, we hate the guy cause he has always kept our team from winning the big one! Ineptitude from the most important position on offense, doesn't translate into scoring points and that's a fact! What is sickening is that you and junc defend him, and act like you r above other fans due to your, so called greater knowledge, when that is so clearly not the case! It's actually a wise move to consider the circumstances, but some things obviate the need for that. Have said it before, but take the goal line interception against Seattle. You can't pin that on Sparano as it was a great call and a well designed play. You can't pin that on the Oline as the blocking was good and Sanchez wasn't under any pressure. You can't pin it on the receivers as even if the routes were incorrect, two receivers, Hill and Kerley were wide open for "sight throws". What did Mark do ? He hesitated, couldn't make a decision, pump faked defenders drawing them TOWARDS the receiver then weak armed a late pass that was easily picked off. That one was all on him, and it wasn't the only boneheaded play he made this past season.
Were they ahead before the missed tackle on that 1 play? Isn't that how you like to look at things? If not, then stop focusing on 1 TD drive the defense allowed and start to look at how poorly Sanchez played including the pick 6 that truly cost the Jets the game. The D gave up 10 points all game. The O scored 13 and gave 7 to the other team. It can't be more obvious.
Go take a refresher course in NFL history Hobbes. They stuck with him because he kept getting injured every year (until he started lifting weights with the linemen) and despite that they were still looking to shit can him, the giants are lucky that parcells insisted on giving him another shot. and he was benched, he had to win the starting job back/wait for the other guy to play himself out of the job. Giants philosophy was run heavy but they were looking to connect on big pass plays when throwing, only obvious that would bring Simms % down, on top of what's already been stated about it being a different era, 60% is not a fair benchmark for qb play in that time at all. Again you and junc keep sayin stats don't tell the whole story and simply disregard them when used as argument against you but then you like to cherry pick stats and twist them to support your own opinions whenever convenient.
