In the last Decade award poll was decided that the Jets player of the decade was none other than Curtis Martin. Now that the Jets have no more games left in the 2000s it's time to decide the Jets game of the decade. Lots of great ones to choose from here, and again if you feel I left any game out just let me know.
Considering there is no poll I'll throw two out for discussion Monday Night Miracle (Nothing else needs to be said about this game) Last year against Tennesee in Nashville. Unbeaten Titans and we go in there and dominate them at home. (I don't like what happened after but it may work out in the longrun)
No doubt about it. Other Greats: -Miracle at the Meadowlands Jets-40 Dolphins-37 (OT) - Jets-42 Packers-17 -Jets-20 Chargers-17 (OT)
My dad woke me up when we closed it to 30-23, and we celebrated rather raucously after the Jumbo Elliott TD. That was just pure fun.
I was @ the Monday Night Miracle (WHOLE GAME) and the 41-0 ass whoopin' I have to say than MNM was a fukin ....well, miracle.
Memorable games for sure, but clearly way below the 41-0 playoff win on 1/4/2003, and also below the 20-17 playoff win over San Diego on 1/8/2005. I would also put those below the 24-22 win over Oakland that clinched a playoff berth on 1/6/2002 (John Hall with a 53 yard FG with 59 seconds left to win it).
monday night miracle followed by the two consecutive 2002 games (win over packers to clinch division, 41-0 over colts).
#1 Jets loss of the decade: Chiefs-Jets 2002 game. I felt a spark on the team even in defeat. Chiefs-29 Jets-25.
