Saleh is being compared to Rex Ryan in regards to his motivation abilities and energy on the sideline. I would LOVE that for this team.

 

I would rather see this.

A coach’s demeanor on sidelines is incredibly overrated, it would not even be a consideration if I were a GM and was looking to hire a HC.

The thing is we have had neither for so long.

 

Rumor has it he tried to climb over the fence and escape, but Quinnen Williams was guarding.

 

The entire energy around this team would change the instant he’s hired.

 

The question is really how controlled is that energy? You can be very vocal and energetic whilst retaining control and you can be very quiet and composed-looking whilst losing it too (see Gase, Adam). Rex wasn't controlled, he was a players' coach that seemed to not demand discipline in himself or them. I don't view Saleh like that at all, even though they outwardly appear similar.

 

I don’t disagree with you, I just think that players look at the results on field more so than whether the HC is stoic or energetic, if they trust he is making good decisions for the team and managing the game and gives them a chance to win that’s what players respond to.

 

Agree. My point was not that he curse and go fuckin nuts like Rex did, but rather has great energy and motivational power every Sunday on the sideline.
