    Honestly, I have no idea which of these candidates will turn out to be successful and which ones won't. So as long as the Jets don't do something dumb like when they hired Gase last time, I'm not going to judge their eventual choice.

    I have the same question.

    He seems to say he is shocked that the Jets would send a private plane to fly Saleh in because he is so respected. I guess he is saying it is very un-Jet like to have interest in hiring a coach that everyone respects so much.

    The 2nd part about being caught off guard I have no clue. It is just gibberish.

    I did not know the Jets sent a private plane to pick him up?

    Little underwhelmed with the choice as I wanted a proven offensive mind as a HC and my 2 guys are Joe Brady and Daboll but if Joe D signed him, I would respect the choice and support him. We shall see.

    I understand this notion but the logic seems a little flawed to me and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t fall into the same trap myself. If I told you we can bring along one of the top two offensive coaches for the powerhouse Niners team that went to the Super Bowl, would you take that? That looks like a realistic possibility right now along with the guy who ran the Niners insane defense. When you say it like that, all of a sudden it becomes a lot more attractive.

    Lets see its not final, but Joe Brady is 31 right? And Daboll may be just that, a offensive guru.

    The goal is CEO leader type figure that can command a room, we need that along with the x's and o's. Saleh seems to have that respect with his players.
