I used to root for the Giants but this year with the media and all the Giants sounding off, they're just annoying. So no go for the Giants unless they play the Pasties.
I dont get it either. I'm a Jet fan and I'm cheering for you guys. It's New York pride. I will never cheer for the Mets however.:lol: Pretty much, I was confused by some of the comments.
See, I can understand hating the douchey fans of the team. I mean, if they bring it on themselves, they deserve it. It's just that between the Eagles and the Cowboys, my hate can only be spread so thin to have any for a team we play once every four years. Douche fans aside, Jet or Giant fans who hate the other respective team just as a rule boggle me.
Two years ago I'd drunk all my beer by 11pm, fell asleep around midnight and woke up to see Brees lifting the trophy. I'll be drinking Red Bull this year unless it's the nightmare scenario (Cheatriots v Giants), in which case I'll be on the whisky and sleeping tablets.
I have had no problem rooting for the Giants in the past. Never would root for the Mets thought. This year, the fans have really gotten on my nerve and since we played them, I wouldn't mind them losing. I also want to see a Harbaugh bowl, two brothers coaching against each other is a great storyline. Also, I don't want to hear anymore Eli/Cruz talk.
Wouldn't expect anything less from a Yankees fan. Ever since I could remember rooting for the jets there has always been a pompus jackass giants fan right next to me laughing at my teams constant failures. I hope they get fucking obliterated.
Like I said in the other thread the Giants game doesnt bother me. Never really cared for them but it seems the only reason why so many are hyping is because of what Rex Ryan has done. But overall, nope, dont care. I do however care about the Pats game since I consider them a true rival and a pain in the ass for us Jets fans.
This year I'll be rooting for a Harbaugh bowl. I never had a problem with the giants and even rooted for them in 07. Its just this year so many giants fans are coming out of the woods since they have this hatred for the Jets making the AFC championship game two years in a row. Even one of my giants friends is saying "cant wait for the giants to get to the super bowl and show these jets that the championship game is not where you stop LOL" ... I'm tired of hearing this crap week after week. They feel they need to let it out on us because their team sucked for the past 2 years. So Harbaugh Bowl or Har-bowl in full effect for me.
Always root for the Giants when Jets not involved....even if they played the Ravens or another AFC team. Patriots ? Belichick ? Brady ? Puh-leeze........I hope the Giants smash Mr. Bundchen 10 times.
