What...? That's total bullshit!!! You "understand" the cheer...? It wasn't Pennington who couldn't touch Brady with a 10-foot pole. It wasn't Pennington who couldn't guard Moss or Welker. It wasn't Pennington who allowed a RECORD 108 yard kickoff return. This was the most idiotic post I've read on this site.
Regardless if Chad's arm is weak or strong or however many games he wins or loses, YOU NEVER disrespect a player that's injured like that. That goes all the way back to Pop Warner. There is no way you can justify what those jets fans did today. Chad got a weak arm and everybody knows it but a athlete on the practice squad still deserves the respect to walk off the field with the support of the fans. This is perhaps more upseting than losing the damn game. I'm heated!!!!
Pennington was kicking ass in the game too. It was not like he was doing things wrong. That is why it was so pathetic. Then he came back and threw another TD. Luckily for us, Clemens led us on three drives for 3 scores for the win in 6 minutes. Fixed that for you. Oh wait. I remember a few 3 and outs.
this thread isnt even close to being funny. you need to add * Jets fans are some of the lowest human beings imaginable. all you in that stadium make me sick. i'm disgusted to be a jet fan after hearing that shit. i honestly didnt give a fuck about anything after that and i'm sure the team felt the same way. if you cheered you don't deserve this team...
It kind of reminds me of when Michael Irvin was on the Veterans Stadium turf, paralyzed. I thought New York fans were classier than that. I guess not.
Your obviously lost, what I mean is that I dont care who it is a stranger or someone else, you dont cheer someone who is in that situation trying to walk off a field. If you cant understand that you either are a lowlife or just really immature
Well I am a Season Ticket Holder , I want a Superbowl - And I am F***ng embarassed right now to be a Jets Fan. That was total crap and I told the Assholes next to me --- And for a Fact They were Cheering that Chad was Out , Not his effort ot anything Else
Well if you look at how I voted in the poll you'll see what I thought the cheer was for. Your position appears to be that cheering Kellen Clemens coming into the game because you wanted to see him play and were tired of the Chad show is equivalent to boiling babies in oil. That is the immature position to take in my opinion.
you know if and when this team wins a super bowl YOU DONT GET A RING. You just get to cheer for them. if thats all you care about when you watch football then you deserve not to get one. This is more than a game. You follow this players and watch them grow and mature into great athletes. if you think its okay to reel a guy because he gives everything for you then you deserve no less than a tumor in the brain. Penny has done nothing but take all the bullshit and fight threw it. he is the appitamy of what a man is. All of you who cheered are not. He shoved that football up everyones ass with that TD drive afterward regardless of the blowout. YOU DONT DESERVE THIS QB. YOU DESERVE KELLEN AND A 4 WIN SEASON.
I believe that the cheering shows the mentality of the group of people have the Chad Pennington is the sole reason that the Jets have a losing record against the best team. They are waiting for Kellen to come in because they believe that Pennington can't win the big one. IMHO - today is a perfect example to show that the QB cannot do it all himself. Chad played well today, but people who want Kellen (and I hope he does well) to take over will use this result as another example that Chad can't beat good teams and he can't come back from trailing by more than 14 points.
Sad day to be a Jet fan, and I am nor talking about the score of the game. We should all be ashamed and embarrased. Chad was the only good thing today.
I don't want to make this a Chad vs Clemens thread, but I have to say this. When it is Kellen's time to start and play, I will support him. Until then, Chad is the starting QB for this team, and he will get my support until it's declared "Kellen Clemens Time".
