Cannon isn't an option THiS SEASON for punt returns. Too many fumbles in practice and now in this game has sealed MY opinion of him on that, which is of no value to Bowles.. yadda yadda yadda. Let Cannon practice EVERY DAY with 10+ punts to get reps for the next year and perhaps he can contend as a PR guy next year. This year..... no.
Think the route. A bad idea to throw that leading the receiver into the middle of the field. Seasoned wr makes the adjustment
Hard to tell. It looked like Cannon wanted to hit the sideline, which is where Darnold threw. Usually when you cut outside, you go up towards the sideline. He's from a small school, so maybe Cannon is not use to making that kind of adjustment as a running back.
Yeah. He's got really good potential. Shifty, but a little light in the ass and obviously hasn't been asked to do much more than run the ball in college. Keep him close, bulk him up a bit and have Powell teach him how to be an all around back and we might have a keeper.
Absolutely. That’s some James White wheel route shit that I can’t stand but desperately want on our team (Wasn’t a wheel route but I mean the RB that can line up at WR and go deep)
