Great game last night. Had me on pins and needles but I'm a Jet fan so I am ALWAYS on pins and needle. I think that Rob has a good insight into his brothers schemes and what he wants to do. So that would explain the onslaught the defense was taking. Good comeback. Defense wins championships. Jeff Cumberland is gonna be huge once the start trusting him. Big, Quick target. Sort of like Finley for the Packers.
"Thank you, Tony Romo... ...you caused two of the three late turnovers that helped the Jets defeat the Cowboys. And even though you didn't cause the blocked punt, we'll pin that one on you, anyway! Regards to the wife. Oh, and when you're in bed, please don't release prematurely. You might find some other guy scoring!" -Jetsetter
Why is the bigger story after this game the fact that the Jets won without either the defense or ground game playing that stellar a game? Neither of the two facets of the team that were considered the backbone were that strong, and yet, 1-0. That should be the story.
People seem to keep mentioning the fact that Rob's D was able to do a number on us because he knows Rex so well and has insight into what he likes to do. You would think that would work the other way around also, but it didn't seem like our offense was very good at exploiting Dallas' D regardless of all of the starters that were missing. To me this speaks to what I think is the biggest problem with the Jets in general - Rex just doesn't have enough involvement in the offense and it shows. Whereas on D he does such a good job of getting guys into roles where they can be productive, on offense players seem to be misused so often, or not used at all.
Well obviously offense is not Rex's strength which is why I think having Callahan on the staff is so important.
Jimmy Fallon is a piece of dog shit and is an embarassment to the NY Jets fan base. He's also a Red Sox fan. He's half chowder. Die in a fire, Jimmy Fallon.
No chance in hell. I just read buddy's post featuring that faggot, and felt the need to share that with the interwebs.
