Chad will never have 39. Ever. So let me ask you something, you don't buy into Chad Penningtons shortcomings allowing teams to crowd the box on us? You might be the only person on the planet that thinks that. Maybe you're smarter than the rest of the football watching world, or maybe it's just man-love.
It's just killing you that Pennington is having a better year than Favre. Maybe the Dolphins are just better coached because if teams put eight in the box against them apparently Chad would now tear them apart. I'm not sure why you just can't give Pennington his props and move on. He's having a better year than Favre. Deal with it and move on.
Good point. None of them here can do that, that's why this shit keeps coming up every week and sticking around here.
As long as Chad was his usual self throwing a game ending pick when we played them I will accept it. Trickery will not work forever? How many T/D passes does Chad have? How many T/D passes has Chad thrown to a Wr this season. With Chad we are 2-5!
His shortcomings allowing D's to crowd the box really hurt Curtis martin, didn't it? His usual game ending pick? How many times has that happened? That is such an asinine comment but then again so is your entire post.
How many games did Chad end with Picks the same way just last season? Ending Drives or games. At least three of his seven starts. He put himself on the bench for a reason last year!
Keep clinging to the first half of last season, it's all you have. Just completely ignore the rest of the guy's career.
The rest of his career is why he is in Miami. If he was worth anything he would still be the Qb of the NYj when the season started as you defiantly predicted.
It happened a few times last year but he was playing hurt and the team around hims stunk. We weren't half as good as we are now around our QB. Chad every rarely threw killer INTs pre 2007. His in Mimai b/c of durability. If he wasn't hurt so much he'd still be here and would be a top NFL QB. Do you remember how badly he outplayed Favre in that week 17 matchup in 2002? Favre was still in his prime then.
I did but I guess an 1-15 team did not think so. He will be able to Caddy for Henne a little while longer. You know how that story is going to end.
The problem is he rarely threw a Killer T/D pre 2007. In todays Nfl it will kill your SB dreams. I would have prefered he try to win games and throw a few more picks. If he did that he might still be here. 2002 was his claim to fame. He outplayed Manning in the playoffs too and I would not compare or trade him for neither.
He's not here b/c of durability not b/c of his play. It's the same reason John Abraham is gone, if both guys were durable they'd be here playing great instead of for other teams.
I don't ever recall Abraham's Talent or him being able to make Nfl plays Questioned. Donovan Mcnabb has come back from worse than Chad and he is still in Philly.
You know what kills me? Idiots comparing Chad to Brett. Outside of the NY/FL area, nobody is having this discussion. Why? Because everyone knows there's no comparison. Chad is still Chad. He's a guy that has made a living dumping the short pass and having 0 success without a monster running game. He crumbles under pressure. He's fragile. His 2 minute skills are non-existent. His passes make appointments with the recievers because there is no zip on his throws. So yeah, I'm just dying over here that we don't have Chad anymore. Favre is my favorite athlete of all time with the exception of GSP, so take it as you want, but the facts are the facts. There's a reason Brett holds just about every meaningful record a QB can have, and it's not because a handful of homers are fighting over his cup.
I love how you base your arguments around your own predictions as if they are fact. By the way, how is that 1-15 team doing now with a real QB?
