http://www.nfl.com/players/profile?id=LAB705651 His numbers aren't bad. He's played in at least 13 games each year. He sat out the entire year last year. If we're not paying much, or making it incentive based, I don't see how we could go wrong here. Fuck, maybe RR turns this guys career around and makes him what he's supposed to have been all along.
if he's healthy he'll provide an actual OLB rotation with Thomas and Pace. That's something the Jets don't have. LaBoy was a starter in this league before his injury. If he can return and keep pace in the NFL, he'll be a fine backup. He's already better than whats behind Pace/Thomas right now anyway.
i hear what many of you are saying about hating on injury prone players, but at the same time we want our boys to go 110% every snap, leave it all on the field, don't hold back. but this is the style of play that generally leads to injuries. we had a LB here once that sat out a fucking playoff game so he wouldn't get 'injured'. i'd rather have a band of lunatics that give up their bodies and then live with injuries that follow then have pussies that never get hurt.
