Benson is a nice fallback option if our young runningbacks disappoint. If something happened to Greene early in camp, we really should look at a guy like Benson. Greene has a tendency to get nicked up, and there's no one behind him that looks like they can carry the load. McKnight has some ability, but I don't think he's an every-down back. Powell looked bad last year in limited time, and Ganaway is a rookie 6th rounder. Bringing in Benson would mean Powell is gone. wi I just don't know if Benson wants to be a complimentary back with a cheap salary.
