It depends on who goes early, if anybody. Panic sets in when there is a run at a position and especially when it is the QB position. That's the only thing that explains 2011. 2003 was another draft that had a bunch of people come off the board a round or two early. If the Browns take Trubisky on the 1 we're going to see 4 or 5 QB's go in the 1st round. Somebody, probably the Bills, will grab DeShaun Watson and then Arizona will grab Mahomes, and somebody else will take a flyer on Kizer or Webb in the late teens and the other will go to a playoff team in the 20's.
Who's the real QBs in next years draft? Do you know for sure that they aren't flawed after another season and going through the evaluation process? Do you know that we will be in position to get one of them?
If the Jets are sold on only one of the top QBs, and if he falls to 6 they'll probably take him there. Otherwise, they could drop down to the 11 or 12 and get at least one extra high 2nd round pick, and hope that one of the QBs they wants falls to them at 11 or 12.
I don't think i remember going into a draft more clueless about what in the hell could happen, after 1 i have no clue whats going to happen. If McCaffery goes at #2 i wouldn't be surprised i literally cannot wait anymore for this draft i want it to be over.
