Jets Biggest Draft Busts of the Last Few Years

    i think busts should only be for 1st and 2nd rounders, so this ones a no brainer robertson

    What round did we take Schlegel again? I wouldn't recognize him if he knocked on my door. Robertson was a decent player and starter, but didn't live up to the #4 pick, especially when you consider we packaged two #1s together to go up and get him.

    Blair Thomas and Johnny Lam Jones are two other big Busts that come to mind.

    Roger Vick #1 pick in 1987, and the 1986 draft was disasterous. The #2 pick was an O lineman named Doug Williams that didn't even make the team.

    LOL.

    I wasn't even in this thread. I did a search of my name and this post came up.

    On 3-5-04 the Titans traded Justin McCareins for the Jets 2004 2nd round draft choice. That pick was used to select defensive end Travis LaBoy. LaBoy signed with the Cardinals this offseason.

    Any kicker drafted in the 2nd round should be money from <40 yards, and get touchbacks regularly. Nugent is not that guy.
