    so for us he's "effective" can "protect wilson" and is a good nickel corner.

    but for buffalo he's inconsistent and old?

    Well, he's 30 so he's definitely old for a corner. He'd be nothing more than a stop-gap player for the Jets, probably a cheap 2 or 3 year deal of which he likely won't see more than 1 year.

    I agree with an earlier post that we are just putting out feelers. Same with Buchanan and the LB from Baltimore. "Bidding war" is a little much for this type player at this time.

    This guy is likely #5 on our CB priority list. Just stirring the pot. I would be willing to bet if we don't land Aso, then Cro is next followed by Jonathan Joseph and Fabian Washington. Those guys are excellent man to man coverage veterans. Florence is a guy we see a lot and know very well, but not in high demand, much like Washington who Ryan coached in Baltimore. If the price is too high for Aso, Cro, and Joseph, then Florence isn't a bad option.

    I just hope all this FA activity with CBs doesn't destroy Wilson's confidence.
