That's the way it works. But on TGG even an 11-5 season means half the board has to be talked off the ledge five times.
I agree, with the exception of the Bills game this year the rest of them have looked pretty bad at times.
Not "backed into. It's BACK INTO the playoffs and thats all that really matters. Buffalo will be a good time to rest some guys who are hurting and also give some guys a shot to get some good reps. Im excited to se McKnight and Conner get some more action.
Funny, I have had a couple Giants fans throw the "backed in" crap at me. All I have said back is at least we didn't crash the car.
Unbelievable that Giant fans could be saying **anything** after the way their team has been absolutely humiliated over the past few weeks. This is why I'm hopeful that even more misery is in store for these douchy vaGiants fans come Sunday.
Well in the defense of the Giants fans I was referencing they are good friends who I talk shit with about anything. Why they are still trying to talk shit about football is a good question but it's all in good fun with them.
tru, thought it was just a meta-fo for da udda disasta at da new meadowlands and da supa yuman effaht by da packiz
Because it's something people like to say now any time you lose a couple of games. You get in by an objective criteria over 16 games that everyone knows going in. It's not like college, it's not up for debate. And like you said, they met the criteria in 15 games so now they prepare for the next phase. New England is most likely going to go 14-2, who knew? It happens, and the Jets are one of the two that beat them. So you play the hand you're dealt, get ready and see what happens.
I have posted a million times how there is no such thing as backing in but I have to ask a question. How did we win our last 2 and 5 of our last 6 last year and back in? and now we clinch in week 16 w/ a week to play and we back in? is it just automativally applied to the Jets if we make the playoffs we back in? it doesn't make any sense. if we win on Sunday have we then not backed in? It's asinine.
