I hope that INT throwing loser doesn't come back next year. He can take that fat fucking loser coach with him. Should have went for it on 4th down in the 1st. Just End The Season.
no coverage skills at all, we jettisoned that guy last season and proclaimed Harris the savior, now we have two block eaters and no coverage guy
"and then the trade for Favre which was ridiculously loved by everyone here and the media, as if he was 30 years old and would be playing for 5 more years or more. The trade was idiotic from the start." I said it before and I'll say it again. The trade was made so the team could generate interest and Woody could sell his PSLs, or whatever the fuck that cash grab for the new stadium is called. The Favre acquisition set the team back 2-3 years, at least, in their rebuilding process.
Mangini didn't win the game - the players did. I hate the way this keeps getting dragged up. The Jets went out to win that game - that's what they're paid to do. Besides, from all the reading I did it looked more like Jets would have gone for McFadden if they'd had the No.3 pick and he's hardly been great.
3 worst plays of the game so far: 1. not goin for it on 4th and 1 at the goal 2. calling for a comeback out on 2nd and 3 (either run or go deep if ur gonna pass there) 3. favre INT across the field
Oh no doubt. Another season of 3 yard pass Chad was gonna be too much to handle. That guy suked here at the end.
"I am not saying it was a smart playcall, I am just saying that was what the playcall looked like." Cool!
My agenda is about winning. I know you know more about football than to think our O has been good this year b/c it hasn't. They had 2 big games which skewed the #s. The D/STs scored 42 points, the O has allowed 35. That is a huge swing and needs to be factored in. Our O has a very good OL, excellent RBs, very good WRs, a good receiving threat at TE. There's no excuse for being as inconsistent as we have been and #4 is the reason and you know it.
Let's hope Mangini fires up the team during half time...instead of standing there, chewing his gum and listening to the crickets.
