Good idea. I guess I can just go back to wallowing about the yankees. Seriously though, this game thread was extremely helpful in coping with such a disaster. Thanks guys. Now on to the Irish whiskey!
We're halfway this season to equaling Kotite's total wins in two years. Please. This is not the same type of team. Bad days at the office happen to anyone, and Mangini and Co. need to take their lumps and learn from them. Bottom line: :shit:
Mangini is a plain vanilla guy that wants his team to win. He isn't a quote machine like Herm (which wore on everyone after two seasons). He doesn't have charisma, but doesn't come off like an ass. He is trying to give his team every advantage he can (except for continuing to play barlow). He is what he is, a smart uncharismatic rookie head coach. Which is probably what he should be with this team's talent level and being that he is in NY.
NO never BEN GRAHAM IS INVINCIBLE!! fuck fuck im gonna try and forget this game i think.... ps Ben Graham bought a house near mine
Exactly he is a new HC with no conatcts, no friends, no reputauion. It is stupid for him to play fast and loose with the rules. It is stupid for him to try to cheat with unethical substitutions when no other coach would do that, its stupid to abuse the injury report rules, it is stupid to abuse the the depth chart rules, it is stupid to start fights with reporters, it is stupid to start fights with players, and it is stupid to act like an arrgant fool. I agree Manguni is smart but he is also quite stupid. He is trying to emulate his role models Parcells and Beleichick and be a tough guy that takes shortcuts and plays fast and loose with the rules. Unfortuntaley he does not have the reputation, friends, personality, charisma or Tom Brady to bail out his poor behavior. There are a lot of smart people that fail because they have no ability to get along with people or communicate. So far the Jets have have played 4 terrible games where the entuire team except Pennington, Ciles and Rhodes has failed to show up. Pennington will not bail him out forever and we will not get easy sheduyles like this year every year. I am not suprised Del rio wanted to stick it to Magini and running up tthe score. If you have no resumes and act like an arrogant A$5 people will be line up to show you up. That may have been the case today.
haha its his offseason house. Im gonna actually do that... ill leave a note "This is for week 5 mate..."
I can't imagine many people will agree with you. But I am not going to debate someone who will give no credit to the team by saying they played 4 terrible games. You clearly have an agenda. I'll put this up on its own thread to see if anyone want to take a crack.
I'm still pissed about that roughing call on Barton, even the though drive ended in a punt. I freakin' hate the refs.
