Exactly. The way the defense played can't be overlooked just by the way Chad played.

Football is a team game, if the team as a whole doesn't play well, chances are you aren't going to win the game.

It's the New York Giants vs the New York Jets, not the New York Penningtons.

The D was bad, but the offense was right up there with them. Offensive production led to 10 points today. The O-line was great in pass protection. The running game is still struggling, but I thought Chad was a top QB? Shouldn't he be able to still deliver? 1TD, 3 picks and 10 points is pretty weak from a top QB.

The D was on the field the entire 3rd quarter! Sometimes it feels like we're debating with people that have never seen a football game before. The Giants were SO horrible in the 1st half that we should have been up by 20. The Giants would have been in throw only mode, and the D could have gone after a predictable O.

No, this is not the 2000 Ravens D. However, it is a decent D if only the O would burn some clock and put up points.

If not for the D and ST this game is 35-10. How are you supposed to stay fresh on D?

I think its time to put in Clemmens. Penny made some excellent reads and throws today. But he also made some horrible mistakes, especially the interception for the touchdown at the end of the game. At this point, Clemmen's athletic ability and potential is greater than Chad's intangibles. Put him in.

As far as the D goes... bench Vilma. Lets get a stud linebacker or d end in the draft.

A pathetic job by the D-line on that 3rd and long 1st don to seal it.

Chad couldn't run the ball? chad couldn't stop the run? Chad couldn't stop the opponent from scoring? Chad deserves his share of the blame but it's asinine to blame it all on Chad but we all know that will happen b/c if we had anyone but Chad playing QB we'd easily be 4-1:rolleyes:

How do you pretect two 10 point leads given to the O by the D and ST if you never get to take a breath?

that was meant more for the folks that weren't ready to give up the ghost...not the man...he's done all he can and I thank him for it. I hope he sticks around as a backup/assistant coach...he is a great jet, just not a QB. He could be our Jason Garrett.
