both of these scores have an identical likelyhood of happening. 0. The Jets, as much as I love them, will not score 35 unless they have a stellar offensive day AND get a score from either the ST or D. Miami is even less likely to score 23. That would require a huge day from the ST and Defense forcing TO, because our defense has allowed 52 yards rushing a game. And you can't even argue we havent played any run first teams yet, the Ravens certainly qualify there. And all we need to do is double Marshall to weaken the phins passing game immensely. Marshall is good enough to still get his, but he won't dominate the game like they need him too.
Matt Slauson has done really good. U tend to see that one sack on him, but he could have avoided that too had he not twisted his ankle. I think Matt Slauson has exceeded the expectations and will be very reliable in the future. So the edge still stays with the Jets, albiet just a minor edge.
Phins - 31 Jets - 7 Dirty Sanchez gets sacked 4 times and throws 2 picks. Miami completely shuts down grandpa Tomlinson. Not even worried about fumble-prone Greene...he sucks. Cameron Wake gets 2 sacks. I hope drunk driver plays a lot so you guys don't try to come up w/ excuses...his hands are almost as good as Terrell Owen's. I already know that after this loss, you guys will make excuses that Revis didn't play (even though Ginn owned him last year and Miami was 2-0 vs the Jets last year with Revis), Pace didn't play (even though cro-magnon played last year when we whipped your a$$e$), Jenkins didn't play (he basically only played 1 year for you guys so don't act like he was some vital part of your team...what do you expect out of an injury-prone, fat, old, DL traded from another team?) And Holmes...Vontae Davis would shut him down and Dirty Sanchez won't be able to get the ball to him anyway as Wake and Starks will be in his face all day. You heard it here first...Fins will have some Wildcat surprises for the Jets. Expect to see Tyler Thigpen play. Expect for Brandon Marshall to dominate soft-@ss Cromartie and get 100 yards and 2 TDs. Sorry guys...you squeaked into the playoffs last year b/c Indy didn't try and you think your SB bound..I don't think so. You guys will finish in 3rd place in the AFC East and miss the playoffs. Maybe next year!
