"Cakes, this is true. When you re-watch it. Brick got BLASTED........AGAIN." -Royal Tee I must be wrong. I didn't tape that game, so I am lost. But I could have sworn I saw Faneca whiff on a block somewhere in that series, possibly on the 2nd down play.
C'mon Junc. Don't do that... Gloating is Bush league man... Support the guys in green no matter who they are... ....Actually, I'm on my 6th Dos Equis so Fuk it... CHAD WE MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rofl2:
I think the offense needs to play more to Favre's strengths. Favre's best plays last year were spreading the defense out and having a bunch of receivers going out for quick passes. I don't really see us running slants. The quick slants were his bread and butter last year in Green Bay. It seems like we have too much max. protection, thus limiting options and taking too long for plays to develop. The protection even hasn't been very good at times.
Ok. The best thing that I can say about this outcome...SO FAR...at the half, is that everyone had us being 2-2 by the Bye Week. Now, do I think we will beat the Cards? NOOOO!! But we can only hope. Right? C'mon Favre. Please prove all these cocksuckers wrong with something magical.
If the defense doesn't learn what balance means, they you're right. And we will lose to Miami at home.
this game is making me sick. 2 awful interceptions, 1 awful fumble. the two td's are on defense and special teams. really, we gave away 24 points. we're missing jenkins. we have nothing on offense right now. at this point, it might be wiser to go deep on every play. at least if we get intercepted, it's like a punt.
it is called changing your whole offensive philosophy for the PR move of bringing in a 12 million dollar QB who does not like the shifting motion style the Jets used and still does not know the playbook or the players. Bench Favre, bring in Clemens please and I am not kidding.
Hard to say man. They are shredding us right now. Sure, we are giving them short fields, but based on what we've had to look at, we can't stop a damn thing!
May have been the 1st down cause 2nd was Harrison off the edge and 3rd was Blast O'Brick. On 1st he did go left and got 2 1/2
Wondering the same... But hey, It's ESPN the world's greatest channel for all that is sports information
