I'm sure it's buried in here somewhere, but who besides me was laughing like hell when G Buttle & Ian Eagle 'interviewed' Joe Namath? I don't know why that cracked me up so much, but I couldn't stop shrieking my head off. It was so absurd. They're politely 'listening' to Joe, clueless that what he's saying is not on the air. A picture of Joe's face, with an icon that says 'on the phone'. Then, they go to commercial, and when they come back, they continue asking him questions and keep politely 'listening'. "Oh, haha, Joe." Well, that's nice they got to hear all about it. Jets win!
Ken Dorsey is fucking awful. Was there any contact on the Lowry pass interference?? I couldn't tell for sure but it didn't look like it to me. I think Carroll will be cut. He seems like a liability in coverage and pass interference waiting to happen. Ainge is awesome at handing the ball off. Lowry woulda caught the ball Coleman almost picked.
I'm hoping the 4th rounder we gave up in the Favre deal escalates to a 3rd....it seems we keep striking gold in the 4th round. Lowery looked pretty decent.
amen bro...amen. Seems like #4 is the Jets' lucky number....for our new QB...and our most productive draft round as of late
Packer/Favre fan here. I just want to back up what others have said about Carroll. The guy is a head-case and a walking penalty. We gave that guy plenty of opportunities and he burned us every time (or rather, it was him getting burnt). And I have to admit, that when we drafted Clowney, a lot of us had high hopes for him.
I was thinking, this one preseason game has assured hundreds, maybe thousands of Jets fans that a) Brett Ratliff is ready to be our starting QB and b) David Clowney can be this team's #2 wideout. They did nothing for the rest of the season, but people just remember this first preseason game. Therefore, it may end up being more significant than any game we played the entire season. Time will tell.
