Uh, I am worried about Hester. He's a game changer. Hopefully he stays under wraps. Didn't see the Pats-Bears game, but all that snow probably slowed him down.
Weatherford's been good at downing the ball inside the 20 and forcing fair catches. We can't let Hester beat us. Chicago is good because they have a lot of speed and they play very good defense. If you hold the other team's scoring down, force turnovers, and have big play ability, with Cutler, Knox, and Hester, and a decent enough running game with Forte, you'll win games. That said, I'm a lot more confident we will win this week.
The Vikes actually had decent success running against the Bears despite not having AP in there. However, they had to pass the whole game as they were getting crushed.
Not surprisingly they have given up the most sacks in the NFL. I'm sure our defense will be able to contain them.
http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/news/story?id=5947122 Rex says he plans to avoid kicking it to Hester.
More great news, Cutler apparently won't ignore Revis. http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/bears/post/_/id/4668655/cutler-ignores-critics-wont-avoid-revis
Thank god, Revis will finally be getting a pick because this moron is arrogant enough to throw at him. His arrogant ass threw 4 picks to DeAngelo Hall and after the game said he's still throwing at him. I can't wait for this game, this new has made me so much more eager.
The media says the Jets have not beat anybody...Except the Pats and Steelers... The Bears have beat GB and Philly. The Jets loses are to 3 of 4 playoff caliber teams The Bears lost to Seattle and washington
Yeah the media is dumb. This year truly defines "any given sunday." The Pats lost to the Browns, the Bills scared the Ravens, the Bengals scared the Steelers, the Lions beat the Packers, Browns beat the Saints, As stated above Chicago lost to seattle and Wash, etc. To say the Jets are still overrated is absurd. Are they the best team in the league? No. Are they a damn good team? Yes. Do they have a chance at 12-4? You better believe it.
Do you think the Jets will tank a little against buffalo if , i mean after they take care of chicago this weekend? I hope not, unless it's completely necessary for certain players to heal up or rest. it hink the Jets play better when they are rolling as opposed to time off.
AYFKM? If we're gonna lose any of the next two games, it's this one. Not Fuckalo. If we win Sunday, we're in. We can start Brunell for all I care week 17.
what i mean, is after they take care of chicago, and they will, do you think they may rest players against buffalo, or go all out? if they lose to chicago, then of course they will. hypothetical question.
if it won't change anything WRT play-off seedings or opponents, then I'm all for resting players. After today's news about Sanchez and Santonio, that would be much needed
I think it depends on many variables: What does NE do against the Bills? What is the weather forecast? Can the wildcard seating change or are we locked in? How we come out of Chicago physically - is anyone banged up? If we win on Sunday - regardless of anything other than NE losing next week and we have a shot at the division - I would play Brunell with a nice dose of Joe McKnight in the 2nd half against the Bills.
If you think this team doesn't want the 5th seed, then you're crazy. They want to go back to PIT, and then play Brady and friends for the AFCCG. I have an odd feeling that's what's going to happen if the Jets get the 5th seed. If the Jets see Brady in the divisionals, he'll win. BB and Brady after a bye are pretty much unstoppable.
