Chicago got their doors blown off last week by Brady. It seems like it took us about 4 quarters to recover from that. It will be interesting to see what the Bears look like. They seem like the kind of team that we match up pretty well against.
I remember the last 2 Bears matchups. NOT pretty. Seemingly being eliminated in Chicago when Chrebet fumbled in 2002. Luckily things worked out. Then I was at the game in 2006. The Jets could not even score. 10-0 Bears. Urlacher picked off Pennington in the endzone. Hopefully next week will be a better result! The short week should hurt Chicago.
I dont like to predict injuries...but count on an injury tommorow night. The field is really fucked up and its going to be freezing cold.
That tailgate was fucking epic!! Six grills, a full bar, hundreds of brews. Unbelievable selection of delicious food at that one.
That Jay Cutler pic is the GOAT post....................... We win if sanchez can manage the game like he did and we can stop them speedy ass recievers and Greg olson
As a Chicago resident, this is huge for me. I feel good with our defense, except that Greg Olson scares the hell out of me. When we are on offense, Sanchez has to be protected. If he has time, the Jets will score against this defense.
Not for nothing, I was more worried about the Steelers than the Bears. I just think the Bears are overrated. Not that our offense inspires a shitload of confidence, but we should beat them, even in Chicago.
I like our chances @CHI. Their OL isn't good, and if we can get after the QB we all know how our DBs erase everybody [but the TE]. Sanchez handled PITs zone blitz schemes today, we'll see if he can handle CHIs Cover 2. That's the big question: does good or bad Sanchez show up? "The NYJ are 10-0 when scoring a TD" is the most ridiculous stat there's ever been.
We need to establish the run, and if we can't get it going the way we want it we cannot abandon it. Did we see how lovely those PA passes were today, the Steelers bit on almost everyone, the draws, fakes, everything will open up like today, we need to run, run, run the ball. All it comes down to is if the O-Line can keep it up.
Our D has to tighten up or it won't matter if we get in the playoffs or not because we won't be around for long. We HAVE TO get off the field on 3rd downs!
Lets win this one so we can lose against Buffalo further ensuring they don't get a little bit of Luck =)
Cutler seems to have figured things out lately. The Jets are going to have to keep applying the pressure on him to win.
