You can prob get away with meh guard play in the AFC West where the best defenders are all edge rushers, but not in the AFC East or the AFC South where you got players like Watt and Jurrell Casey. I never thought about great G play until we started seeing BUF accumulate the talent they have on that line. That's why I made such a big deal about Chance Warmack. Now we have to face Suh too? I'm looking forward to the games in this division.
as we've seen the last few years all it takes is one or two plays where a guard gets abused and it causes an ugly turnover and the game. winters for example could do an admirable job with a marcell dareus for 3 &1/2 quarters but it don't mean squat if its a tie game in the 4th quarter in the Jets end and Dareus blows by him once, and strip sacks Smith. ball game
