Check this out, in the Jet's five losses this year, here's how the team's they lost to did in the week prior and after their Jets victory. Just a very average team for the Jets, despite the millions in upgrades...

    Jets Game: W 48-29
    Week After: W v. Oak 28-18

    Raiders
Prior to Jets Win: L vs. N.O., 34-3
    Jets Game: W 16-13
Week After: L vs. Balt, 29-10

    Denver
Prior to Jets Win: L vs. Oak: 31-10
    Jets Game: W 34-17
Week After: W vs. KC 24-17

    San Fran
Prior to Jets Win: W vs. Buffalo 10-3
    Jets Game: W 24-14
    Week After: ?

if the 49ers win, it can get the Fins off our back for the time being.

The money was put in the right spots, our play calling is idiotic. Even though you have renounced the Jets, maybe you have seen some plays where NOTHING MAKES ANY FUCKING SENSE?

JetFighter, but really to anyone who keeps bringing up the money/Tannebaum. We have great players. We put the money where our holes were, but our dickhead coaches, who have been dickheads in wins too, are morons. I don't pretend to know under what circumstances each player's responsibilities are, but watching the games and highlights, playcalling jumps off the screen. They are completely outclassed in most scenarios, besides Westhoff.

1 great coach = 1 great component of our team - Special Teams
1 dickhead O-Line coach who needs a new profession = spotty O-Line play
1 goofball D coord = Goofball defensive plays, schemes, wrong timing, no adjustments
1 OC whose pedigree outweighs his talent = An offense who has greater potential than it will ever realize
1 Head Coach who has 2 X chromosomes = No one with enough balls to tell the coordinators to step the fuck up

I see us barely beating the Bills, then going to Seattle and losing, then Miami?

I can only defend Callahan... TJs about to break the TD rushing record and have a career year.... Westhoff is being Westhoff which is great... but you are correct about everyone else - they are afraid to win. The CS we saw in 06, who used every resource to win games and weren't afraid to gamble... now they are this vanilla pussy team with no fire or desire.

I wouldn't be so harsh on Callahan. The Jet running game is pretty good. It would be better if we saw more of it.
