I don’t think there is anything to ruin with Zach, he just is not good.
I will admit I was wrong on Darnold, even though he was not my first choice that draft year I thought he would be solid. I never wanted any part of Zach and he really hasn’t shown much to think he is a long term NFL starter.
See my previous post, Tebow won games too, even a playoff game but no one ever believed after that season he was a quality NFL QB.

We're winning games and showing we still have lots to improve.

Only won more than 5 games once in the last 8 seasons. It's been a Long long road and it feels fucking great!

One winning record in 10 years, horrible.

This Is exactly the biggest concern for me too.

If we truly want to escape the "SOJ" mantra, then we can't allow BB and the Patsies to derail our QB mentally. It always seems like It's the fucking Patriots and BB that find a way to completely mind fuck our "FQB" of the future.

Wilson having a statement game this week, this Is the time. If there ever was a time, this will be It. This game coming up scares me more than the Bills the following week.

    No lie.

I hear ya. I'm concerned too, but not because I don't think Zach can handle BB, but because I'm not convinced Saleh and MLF can. As horrible as Sam looked in that "Ghosts" game, that wasn't because of him (mainly), it was because Gase had no answers for what BB was doing and his offensive scheme was a complete mismatch to Darnold's skills.

I'm more hopeful that Saleh and MLF can make adjustments to prevent that kind of performance, but Belichick makes it a point of personal pride to beat the Jets at all costs - he's rather beat the Jets than win the SB - so he's been planning for this game since it came up on the schedule. I agree, this will be their biggest test in a string of big tests already.

Its great to be 5-2. Were not playoff bound yet. But were in the mix, which is what we've been asking for. Man I hope we beat the Pats. Go Jets!

Zach had plenty of easy throws to wide open receivers yesterday, he kept missing them. He had 5-6 throws that were uncatchable overthrows or barely catchable because they were thrown way behind the receiver running across the field.

He missed 10 total passes. A few he definitely had to throw away becaise no one was open. Your math is a bit off.

We had a 2nd and short from about midfield in the 2nd half. On second down he missed Ozumah badly open across the middle which woulda been a big play. Very well designed playaction play.

then 3rd down he did his roll out/ run backwards thing and almost intercepted.

    My count.
    Missed throws: 3
    Throwaways: 4
    Other: 3
    Of the three others.
Smith drop that hit his chest with a defender holding his arm.
Berrios drop behind him possibly off target
    Drop by Mims behind him

Our defense the last 4 games:

    20 points
    17 points
    10 points
    9 points

Can we hold the Pats to 8 and keep the trend going?
