coach and gm have to fix those things as they happen, not afterward. them getting strong armed into bringing back fitz, or even allowing all these guys to even speak out about it during hte off season shows me all i need to know about them. call em up, explain to them that they need to fall back into their swim lanes and move forward with the best decisions for the team. they didnt do that. i think that they are more of the problem than the players.

Oh for sure, but going into year 3 if they see that they did cause a lot of problems, they should learn from it and not make the same mistakes. If they continue on this path they will be unemployed after next season

Soooo fix the coach, get a QB, rebuild the oline, fix the secondary.......and then fix the players.. Is that all? And to top it off, woodys bro taking over day to day? Might as well add fixing the owner to that list. This team is going nowhere.
I'm not sure any of us are close enough to evaluate the attitude of players. Losing creates problems. Get rid of those players who are a cancer and develop those with talent. Bowles is on the clock but he and the GM have have enough time to see what can work. Coaches can improve and learn with experience. Maybe they can do better.
This is just plain stupid. You win with players and coaches. And a shitty coach can put good players in bad positions and keep them from maximizing their abilities. Less cliches, more rational thinking next time, please.

I was totally against Bowles returning, but I am starting to feel better about this decision. There are a bunch of HC openings this offseason, and the NYJ job would not garner the cream of the crop coaching candidates. We would probably seem like a better option next offseason.
Disappointing to hear. No faith in Bowles ability to lead the team, and especially the defense. Early prediction for another 5-11 season
