    they are independent contractors, not employees. it's a huge difference. At the end of the day as much as we all like crowder he got paid 17.875 million for 2 years work where he produced in 28 games 1,532 yards. I know the low production wasn't his fault by any means but now he's fighting for playing time with 2 younger and cheaper players in moore and cole. He could have opted to say no and been released but would have gotten less on the open market and he knows it.
