I'm doubting that tbh
Both he and Nick Bosa tore ACLs on the same Jet drive, within a few plays apart.
Everything our GM pulling out of the hat this FA has a purpose...right? ( hope)
So welcome aboard Solomon ..we are resurrecting the Titantic
I followed the draft pretty closely the year thomas was drafted. If I recall he's very athletic and has unusual length for a DT and there was some belief he could be a richard seymour type DE. He's a + athlete (assuming injuries haven't sapped all of it) and on a 1 year deal...nothing to lose really.
-Releases/Doesn't resign LB'ers and D line players
-Signs new LBers and Dline players
OMG. They are Addressing the issues and they are getting players who Know the System!!
Why do some have to act like every move is a Gold Mine?
It's the same crap the JETS have done for years. Castoffs, Low cost shot in the dark.
We are still a roster full of B squad talent.
The draft is in a few weeks. We have a few picks I think.
That's interesting, but it falls way short of the 2000 draft - seven of the first-rounders from that draft played for the Jets at some point in their careers!
We drafted four of them (Ellis, Abraham, Pennington, Becht)
who were the other 3 to play for the Jets?
Thomas Jones, Plaxico Burress and Bubba Franks.
