    Love it played football to beat up the jocks that made fun of him. Can't wait for some DL from another team making fun of his stuttering. Bam! Down goes frazier. Love the attitude and drive of this kid.

    Awesome interview. A little disappointing tho. I was sort of expecting him to start the interview by saying, "Wwhhhaattaaaa russshhh!". Instead it's this soft-spoken, mild-mannered kid.

    Great story tho and I hope Slauson works out and remains a Jet for a long time.

    Since my last post Matt Slauson has eaten 3 babies and their mothers. Saw it with my own eyes and it wasn't pretty.

    Wondering that myself. With the O line we have right now , he should get in some really good study. Callahan will also bring the best out of him. Great pick (potentially)

    Not to mention Bender. Actually our inability to find OL talent in the past couple of drafts has left our depth in shambles. Hopefully Slauson pans out, we really need the help.

    I heard the same stuff when Jacob Bender was drafted - "Hey, big dude,.....check out the picture - looks mean & nasty....a steal in the 6th round!"

    Then I watched Bender at OG in an exhibition game & some DL ran around him like he wasnt even there & practically sent Clemens to the hospital.

    The kid is a longshot to make the roster.
    If it works out, - great.
    If not - no big deal.

    Go Slauson... with a great teacher in Callahan and some great veterans (Faneca, Woody) to look up too I really hope this guy can go out and kick some asses :)
