well LT was his first option and was open too, until he was interfered with.

I think any defensive coordinator's ideal defense would involve Revis, Reed, Asomugha, a legit SS, and a capable nickel corner.

They said when they first started that normally they can't show highlights because the NFL says that they can't show any until all NFL games are completed for the week. Since all NFL games are completed for the week they can show them.

He was also short of the first down. Keller not only got a completely free release on the play but he was also totally uncovered, and in the same area of the field he would've been looking for LT. Sanchez made an awful decision and it cost the Jets points, it is what it is.

I'll take the win but our offense still needs work. Lets not get ahead of ourselves and beat the chargers first. We beat a garbage dolphins with an inconsistent offense. A win is a win tho.

I mean, can you blame Sanchez? He's been getting destroyed for the last three games. He looks jumpy because his faith in his line isn't what it should be. I do think he noticeably settled down during the second half though and really started hanging in the pocket and making good decisions. The pass to LT that should've gone to Keller was unfortunate, but LT was actually open. Plax not getting any separation is hurting him, however. They either have to have more designed stop routes/back shoulder throws for Plax or start using Kerley/McKnight/LT as the second option. Hopefully, with a little more confidence, Sanchez will get in a groove and start playing like we know he can. Mark thrives on confidence, so that's what they need to give him.

yeah it is what it is but im not also going to ignore that LT would of easily ran it in if he wasnt held. It was the right decision and maybe if he wasnt open, Sanchez would of checked elsewhere as hes done tonight and might have fount Keller.

If Lt catches it clean he has at least a first down.

However your original premise is correct. This team isn't good enough to play partial games and win. There was a long stretch where this team was awful and getting outplayed everywhere but Special Teams and somehow was winning.

This game is very similar feel to the Jags game with the notable difference being the Oline got better and better where that was the game Mangold got hurt.

This game is like getting laid with a friends sister It feels good but is so wrong.

The ESPN talking heads consider the Jets to be no better than a middling team. 8-8, maybe 9-7. They very likely could be 3-6 after the next three games vs. the Chargers, Bills, and Pats. This is a team that regressed since 2010 without any current serious injuries. The same issue keeps coming up: Sanchez has not progressed to the expected and needed level in his 3rd year. What can the Jets do if this is as good as Sanchez gets, and we have the 31st rated running game? Is it too early to consider Plax a rusty disappointment?

That was a crap segment on ESPN. The Jets played 1 bad quarter and held a team to no TDS.

They were picked to win but those fags do not like how they won..fuck them

A win is a win but I'm not too thrilled with how we played. Quite possibly the only thing that saved us that Sporano is a moron and Moore might possibly be the worst starting QB in the league.

We were very lucky to not be down 14-0 in the 1st quarter. 3rd and inches from the 40 and they throw, follow that up with a punt on 4th. Throw in the ST gaffe and we handed them points but Moore being inept gave us 7 on a pass that should never have been thrown. The blueprint is there on how to beat this team, just get your runners outside the tackles and your going to gain yards. We shut Thomas down but we made Reggie Bush look like an All Pro before he got injured.

Our offense can not wait until there are 7 minutes left in the half to finally decide to get going. I saw more negatives in Sanchez then I did positives. He again missed open WR's like the throw to Kerley who was wide open and he had to dive for it. He missed Keller twice one would have been a TD and the 2nd he threw to Kerley who was stopped two yards short on 3rd. He seems to be playing scared. Once he calms down he is fine but this team just flat out sucks in the 1st quarter offensively. I like his leadership and the team plays off of him. If he is playing well the team responds but when he is in the shitter the whole team is there with him.

Joe McKnight is a playmaker, I said it last week and I'm saying it again. This guy needs the ball in his hands more. I like the creativity to get the ball in his hands more but this guy is a star in the making. He made some poor decisions on the punts but he made up for them. The Phins seemed to have a set plan when kicking to him when he gets the ball in his hands he can make something happen.

Kerley is a beast, anybody see him decleat Wake on the Holmes TD?

Marcus Dixon, the guy seemed to be in the backfield all night. He didn't get a lot of snaps but he is playing hard.

Maybin, another guy who is playing hard under Ryan. 3 FF's in 3 weeks. Guy has a knack for knocking the ball out but I think we're gonna see more of him in the coming weeks.

His vision is what sets him apart from most return men - Brad Smith had that special ability too.

McKnight has a ways to go as a professional tailback, but he'll get there. It looks like he's officially our fourth wideout. I completely agree with you about the staff finding creative ways to use him - he's taken reps on offense, defense, and specials.

...still hoping Schotty mixes in some screens to McKnight because he's a serious threat in the open field.

One more thing: fuck Matthew Mulligan.

It's time to upgrade there - Brandon Manumaleuna has to be better than this turd.

This was a good win. My problem and I bet the rest of you will agree, they went 3 & out in their first four possessions on offense. I though if Schotty gets this win he should get a second chance.

I changed my mind. He is terrible and lost it. Play calling to start the game was disgusting. If not for the Pick 6 by Revis, this was going to be 2-4. This is how i'm honestly feeling.

But something tells me Schotty is staying.

But still a good win to go 3-3 while the Dolphins go 0-5. :D
