In the last 3 or 4 seasons, they have just been on the field for too long in games and they are gassed by the 4th quarter. Hopefully, an improved Offence will help in that regard and good coaches won't harm either.

The Jets announced that they have claimed running back Austin Walter off of waivers. Walter was let go by the 49ers on Wednesday while Saleh and LaFleur took their jobs with the Jets earlier this year. Walter initially signed with the 49ers after going undrafted in 2019, but moved to the Giants practice squad after being cut. He played one game for the Giants and spent time in the XFL before returning to play four games for the Niners last year. Walter had one catch for 27 yards and one carry for three yards while averaging 18.6 yards per kickoff return in that 2020 action. The Jets waived running back Pete Guerriero in a corresponding move.
They need to win more of those home games than they lose down the stretch. Finish strong regardless of how they start. Optimistically I’d like to see 6-7 wins. Beat 3-4 other crappy teams, disappoint the fans of a couple playoff pretenders, and beat someone we shouldn’t. The problem is the division. With it being competitive among the other 3, I wouldn’t expect too many divisional let down games against the Jets.
Thanks Maximus. Lots of good work. Have they increased the maximum number of active players and practice squad players for this year, on account of one more regular season game?
Move Hamsah Nasirildeen to LB since everyone from the Jets website to his Wiki page is calling him a LB
