I felt it as a 10-6/11-5 season entering this year. Now, after the last two injuries, I'm saying 6-10/7-9 best case. 1. Sun, Sep 9 vs Buffalo Bills --- W 2. Sun, Sep 16 @ Pittsburgh Steelers --- L 3. You may! But only if you provide your prediction as to when Rex will go full blown nut bag. Or has he already?
We're gonna finish 5-11 and pick 4th in the draft, Rex is gonna get fired week 13, Tebow's gonna start week 9 and we're gonna put hot sauce on Mike Tannenbaum Reservations for the holiday inn are confirmed
I think Tebow starts next week. I think the Texans are gonna avenge the Alamo on Mark Sanchez 182 years after the fact. If they stay healthy, I can see the Texans going 16-0. They NOT only made the playoffs without a QB last season, they won in the playoffs, too. I see them sweeping the AFCE easily, even the Pats.
Not directed at you personally, but I would give 2-1 odds and take all the money you would care to bet on ANY team going 16-0......it's just too hard to do!
20-1 odds would be a big money maker for you on that bet. Undefeated regular seasons have happened twice in the last 40 years.
16-0?? That's hysterical. The Texans are a good team, but let's not get crazy. I'd say there are at least 6 teams equal or better than the Texans and they have to play some of them. I'd say the Patriots, Ravens, Packers, Bears, Falcons and Giants are all just as good, and probably better ... and I'm not so sure the Eagles and Steelers wouldn't beat them if everyone is healthy.
Catt Country, what are you smoking? Can I have some? Look at the Arizona Cards...everyone thought they were this amazing team. They got beat up, BADLY by the St. Louis Rams. I know the Rams front 4 is pretty stout, but the fact that Kolb was sacked 9 times (insert Ferris Bueller's Day Off quote here..."He was absent 9 times, Mrs. Bueller.") and wasn't even able to throw the ball deep and score any TD's, leads me to believe that saying the Texans are going to go 16-0 is a little far fetched. I gotta say, I don't think you can throw the Giants and Eagles in the mix. I really don't think they are that good. Again, to re-iterate what others have said...going 16-0 is next to impossible. It could happen, but it's not likely.
The Jets are lucky to be at 2-2 since the fish kicker gave that game away. But looking at the remaining games, the only ones I feel halfway good about are Jville, Indy and second Buffalo (the latter just because the Jets still seem to match up well against them). that being the case I downgrade my previous 7-9 or 6-10 to 5-11, possibly even 4-12.
Only 23 of 158 voters were correct in this poll. I was one of the incorrect ones. I was trying to be optimistic and went 8-8. I have a feeling, with the cap situation the way it is, next year will be in the 4-12 to 6-10 variety again. Chalk this year up to another unsuccessful year of Jets football. F*CK!!!!!!! *By 23, I mean people guessing 6 wins or fewer*
Pre-Revis injury I had us at 9-7, post at 7-9/8-8. Wrong on both accounts. Congratulations to the 8 who had us at 6-10 all along.
