Agreed. Longtime Jets fans are irked by this. I read "fans" in their early 20's here who don't care. That's because Parcells (Not Ryan) made the Jets relevant in '98 and they have made the playoffs with some consistency since then.

That sunshiner shit will end soon enough for you, trust me. I grew up with Giants fans and have had to sit through 4 SB's (3 SB wins) while the Jets haven't been to the dance in 43 fucking years (38 of my life). It's not SOJF, it's a matter of being tired of seeing every team in the AFC East make multiple SB's (with the Fish and Pats winning a few) before the Jets can even get back to one.

It's being tired of watching the cross town team who refused to change the stadium name when the Jets split the lease with them win 3 Super Bowls.

I care and I'm pissed, as any diehard Jets fan should be.
    FUCK THE GIANTS!!!!!

And I want that fucking T-Shirt, I want that 2 weeks of coverage and hype, I want the buildup. I want every last NFL fan to have to watch the Jets all over their TV for 2 weeks. Last year we blew it, we were right their against a team we were better than.

I hear you dude...I am in my 20's and I consider the Jets my first and most favorite sports team. But I have suffered alongside with you and yes it's because i started to follow the Jets once Parcells arrived mainly because its when I first started to comprehend the game of Football.

But this thread is not a SOJ thread, I say fuck SOJ fans and SOJ the meaning.
I simply cant stand that we simply cannot breakthrough, we are a different franchise now with a winning mentality. But we let ourselves down as a team and it the pain lingers on with the fans

Good to hear it. Stick with it. When we do win, it will be MORE than worth it. It's not the SOJF in me (although after all these years I definitely have some), it's just impatience.

Growing up, the biggest jokes in the league were teams like the Bucs, Saints and Cards. I've now seen them all get to the SB, with 2 of them winning it. I get frustrated because the Giants seem to be so consistently solid, while the Jets tease every so often and then fall back. I just want the Jets time to be now, and I'm tired of waiting.

I'd shudder to think of the time and money I've put into them if i could get figures. All the emotional investment between me and my Dad. Shit like that can't be measured. Hell, Dad saw them win and he agrees the statute of limitations for being satisfied with that game has long since passed.

Been watching the NFL since 1984. If the Patriots and Giants win next week, I may stare at a wall for about an hour starting at around 9:30. It will be my most depressing moment ever as a sports fan.

I actually posted that in the wrong thread but I can say this here just as well as the other thread about the Giants.

The Giants have gotten to the point the Jets were at the last 2 years while they were sitting at home. I say the Jets do what the Giants did and stay the course without really worrying about what the other NY team is doing.

Good to hear, I'm right with you, I'm in my 20's and feel the same way as you and guys like sufferingjetsfan. I think its just a real bummer right now because I still remember what it felt like when the jets were going to the AFC Championship Games in 2009 and 2010.

I think the one reason I really related to this team was that this team just said F*** You to everyone that was hating. Cromartie's comments were just so awesome because I really felt like I really related to my team and then to go in and shock the world was just so surreal.

Rex was the first coach who really understood how it felt to be a jets fan and he really instilled confidence in swagger in this fan base both young and old.

The Jets have been to two AFC championship games back-to-back while the Giants have NEVER been to an AFC championship game.

Clearly the Jets are the better franchise.

Unless you're 80 years old, I wouldn't take it that far. I honestly think this whole toxic off season is good for the Jets. Let them air this shit out. I have no doubt that they'll come back in 2012 after this really long and miserable off season really hungry for something big.

Fuck them, who gives a fuck. I'm sick of those faggot ass VaGiant fans with the Jets on their tongue. They win tonight and their "fans" STILL have something to say about the Jets. And Jets fans are even dumber to be worried about them.

Those faggots had the easiest route to the Super Bowl, other than the Cheats.

Yeah I dont understand why every last Giants fan has to get on Jets fan. I dont remember saying a single word last year, I knew the Giants were inferior, they knew it, we didnt need to talk about it. But Giants fans are different, their goal is to point out the obvious over and over. I get it, your better, no need to tell me every damn day.
