i just rewatched that video and that was painful seeing brady take that jersey and sapp just sitting there, that is gutwrenching. indeed the fullback announcement was the funniest though.

Another way to look at Jets drafts is who was behind them.

1963-1967: Sonny Werblin (best "GM" the club ever had -- by far) (Namath, Snell, Boozer, Sauer)
1968-1975: Weeb Ewbank (Riggins, Joe Fields)
    1976: Lou Holtz (Todd)
1977: Mike Holovak (Klecko, Walker, Matt Robinson)
1978-1989: Mike Hickey (Lam Jones, Mary Lyons, Freeman McNeil, O'Brien instead of Marino, Roger Vick, Ron Faurot) (this is the guy that made the Jets' draft reputation)
1990-1994: Dick Steinberg (Blair Thomas, Browning Nagle, Mo Lewis, Marvin Jones, Aaron Glenn)
1995-1996: Rich Kotite (Kyle Brady, Keyshawn Johnson)
1997-2000: Bill Parcells (I don't need to do this from here on in, right?)
    2001-2005: Terry Bradway
    2006-2009: Mike Tannenbaum

I'm too young to remember the Freeman McNeil pick but who did they want instead? Ronnie Lott?
