That's it and your right, the running game as a whole went over 100 yards which I remember being made into a big deal. Barlow had 75 yards and Leon had 35.

#NG Jerricho Cotchery on his strained groin injury: "I'm doing a lot better than I was last night... Im feeling pretty optimistic about it."

Cotchery is an all-time Jet... Up there with Chrebet

But... is there any way we do better w/out him?

Fewer choices for Schott, more focus on Edwards/Keller & holmes,
    more options for Smith

I'm not sure myself ... just want to see what everyone thinks

You contradict yourself, If he is an all-time player how can we possibly do better with out him. You always want your best players on the field and by your own definition he is one of the best players on the Jets.

I don't think so. We might get to see some different stuff with Smith in the next few weeks because he will be on the field more but it won't be anything that would make the offense better than with Cotchery.

I think we have to attribute the reason that none of our WR's are putting up huge numbers to the limitations that Sanchez does have. He is developing beyond my expectations at this point but he isn't experienced enough to see the field like a veteran QB can. Sanchez has undoubtedly missed each of our WR's when they were open because he just isn't experienced enough to see the entire field.

Losing Cotchery means that Sanchez has one less reliable target to look too in what are now becoming signature late game drives.
