I didn't think he was missing much until about week 10 or 11 and then he missed a lot. Apparently, that can't be true. He seems to have had his best games towards the end of the year.
I can't wait to see him give Koppen that one handed shiv to the armpit and put 360 Lbs of moving NYJ Billboard into Buck Frady's face. Watching him do that to the Houston center is almost as funny as the Ernie Anastos clip. Here's the feeling on Sunday: The Pats have been flat out drained of sideline organizational talent over the last several years. In addition they have lost a wealth of defensive mainstays. And now their best defensive player. The Jets spent 3 years drafting and getting close to the Pats on a talent level. They have retained all of their sideline organization staff, got Harris back, added more talent, and upgraded the rest of their sideline staff (defense).... BB is the greatest coach of the modern era. No doubting it as the record stands right now. But..you can't coach horses you don't have....... Like Rex said "we'll see who has the better team" I think, right now...we do.
ESPN is hoping he won't appear on the injury report and they can make another story that gets the organization in trouble. If they do it like 100 times, eventually the Jets will start to be viewed like the cheaters their precious Pats are.
If you have a problem with a muscle it's a good thing not to practice too much on it... he'll be ready this sunday, and I can't wait!
We also have Pouha and DeVito on the Injury Report... it's not a good thing to have 3/7 of you D-line listed there... and 2/3 of the NT... let's hope they feel better come Sunday!
I expect the Jets' injury report will be overwhelming for a while with minor injuries that were never reported before.
interesting point. The Jets injury report will be monitored closely for a long time. I personally never take "probable" seriously.
despite him playing this week, it can't be good for the future. it will probably get progressively worse. maybe we can sit him against the dolphins or something.
whats funny is that the pats fans on the espn.com board are celebrating as if Jenkins is definitely out after reading espn's reports.
Uh, Belichick has said that 50% of his roster is listed as probable for years - when no-one is hurt. In light of the Jets recent fine, no matter. I won't lose sleep over it. Jenkins is there. Haha, c'mon.
