Jenkins Injury "Likely Severe"

he was just on sportscenter for about 5 minutes mentioned that jenkins would be a huge loss and if it is serious the jets might be looking to trade for a d-lineman by the deadline tomorrow.

 

Apparently the injury may not be as severe as was initially thought....apparently....

So if it's just cartilidge damage its like 4 weeks, so Jenks should be ready to go for JAX, NE latest

 

oh god, Tanny...please don't trade away our 1st or 2nd round draft picks in next year's draft......

 

They're going to trade Schotty away for a sumo wrestler.

for real, this is not a super bowl season and never was. save the picks and draft a NT in the draft.

 

They should just give Schotty away..the sumo wrestler really isn't necessary.

 

Unless the Jets trade for Haloti Ngata (which won't happen in a million years) by tomorrow....our draft picks better stay intact.

@ the game JENX looked like he was in serious pain! He ripped his helmet off and was banging the turf all while keeping his leg still.
I rewatched some of the game Last night and saw the injury.
It looks bad....
You can see his leg just suddenly "Snap" and shift....
If this isn't season ending I will be surprised.

It's safe to say he's one of all of our favorite players but just from what I saw @ the game and on replay.....ughh.

The NY Daily News confirms that Jets NT Kris Jenkins has a torn ACL.

The injury will require reconstructive surgery, ending Jenkins' season. He will likely be placed on injured reserve by Wednesday. The 30-year-old is still certain to return to the Jets in 2010 with an affordable $2.25M salary.

I was hoping it wouldn't be the ACL. He tore the left ACL with the Panthers, now he tore his right. I wouldn't be surprised if he up and retired at the end of the season. This sucks ass.
