I was holding out hope that the injury wouldn't be too bad but really I think as soon as saw that we all knew he was done. Really sucks his career is probably over. He worked so fucking hard to make it back this season and then his season ends early on. Awful.

I would really hope Kris hangs around with the team however he can throughout the season.

Why would you retire it? Driving a golf cart is probably the only thing he can do right now.

You think the NFL would frown upon a player, playing in a golf cart?

I was too, but his look coming off the field said it all. He knew it.

F#CK! Jenkins was my favourite player on the team and he was so passionate. Really sucks to see it end like this, especially when you think of how much talent he had and how he never got to display it in the past two years.

I hope they keep him around. He seems like the sort of guy who they'd want on the sidelines, for motivation, comic relief etc.

I have a huge mancrush on Jenkins play style and attitude, A sad end to the mans career as he played the game with heart and intensity. That said, I don't see him coming back again after this ACL, just like most of you have said already. Best wishes Jenkins and thanks for the Memories, though they were all too short.

you wanna know what really sucks? Watching the replay, you could tell it was at best an ACL tear, there was no way he got away without at least that. Completely different contact than last years ACl tear. his leg got forced underneath him on a completely freak play this year. Last year he got kicked and it snapped.

Our DL depth just shit the bed. the injuries keep coming, hopefully this is the last one. Supposedly they come in 3's. Ropati, Pace and Jenks.

If the Colts complained about not being allowed to play in golf carts, the NFL would let Peyton Manning play in a golf cart.

In all seriousness our options are as follow ( Non-Roster)

    1. Trade for Shaun Rodgers ( 2nd Rounder)

    2. Trade for Haynesworth ( 2nd Rounder )

    3. Trade for Barry Cofield ( possible 4 or 5th rounder), few may remember but Cofield was almost traded to the Saints back in May but was taken off the trading block. But with the Giants having a stuffed NT rotation with Joseph, Canty, and Bernard at NT the right deal could strike the young kid.

    4. Released by the Redskins, Anthony Montgomery could be a solid option. Hes a young and HUGE ( 6'6 330lbs) dude that can play NT and can also move over to 3-4 DE.

    5. Damione Lewis , another guy from Carolina who played for the Pats as well and correct me if im wrong but I believe he was released, could serve as a very good backup/rotational Vet.

    6. Hollis Thomas, yet another Carolina guy who has some definite age on him (36 yrs old) but he can be used alot at NT , is very solid and doesnt get hurt much.

    7. Kendrick Clancy, A former Saints player who played in the 4-3 but can play out there as a good NT but his downfall is like Jenks has Knee problems , worth a look though.

Remember this souly a list for NT not 3-4 DE's like Douglas or Green even though they themselves would be solid signings.

    * Made this comment a thread since im interested in what people think.
