Shitty thing is it looked like it was just a freak play that would have done the same to a completely healthy knee. I feel bad for the guy.

R.I.P. Jenk! It was an *awful* twist. End of his career I'm sure. :(

Yeah. He very nearly didn't come back this season. Hate to see his career end like this.

For some reason I knew Jenks wouldn't last very long. He's just been way too injury prone to rely on the last few seasons. It's partially his own fault for not being in the best physical condition, and partially just really bad luck. When your that big, it's much harder to move your legs out from under yourself and your more prone to weight bearing injury.

    God damnit.

Huge blow to the defense obviously but I'm even more upset for him. I feel terrible. Dude worked his ass off to get back and more of the same shit. Loved him too. Thanks for everything.

Sad ending to a great career.

Big loss, both on the field and in the locker room. He was a fun guy to watch and listen to. Can't believe it ends this way.

This is truely a huge loss. Not many dynamic NG's out there. Pouha has prooved he can man up but the depth will be an issue going forward.

I think from the look on his face last night when he walked off the field, we all knew his season was over. I know he did.

I am sad to see this happen to him, he seemed like a great team mate and was a beast on the field.

I hope he can make it into the broadcast booth-he would be hysterical!

Unreal. I cannot believe this happened so early and even at all.

I feel horrible for the guy, he loves to play the game.

I can't imagine him playing again at this point.

Unless you're willing to trade high picks you're not going to get anyone that good, so the plan is probably going to have to be to switch up your looks and use more linebackers and defensive backs and fewer looks with three and four defensive linemen. Ellis and Pouha are both good but you can't play them every play of they'll be done by november.

This is very very sad news. I wish Jenks the best and hope that he comes back strong from the injury...the look on his face suggested otherwise. I think Tanny will be running the phones very soon trying to find at least a backup to Sione, if not a starter...via a mid season trade.

    Man that sucks

I feel bad for him, because you can tell he wanted to be back and make an impact this season and his season ends in less than a quarter

I guess he will be retiring for sure now

I saw it coming too. Very sad. I was at camp and had his jersey in my hands. I put it back thinking he might get hurt. Sad that he really did. He is the man.
