Don't know who caught the KC game but Hardman contributed a nice runback and a first down catch--The team was obviously extra elated about him contributing. Glad for him.
It certainly makes me wonder what the actual issue with him was here. And if it was a case of just being in the doghouse, why? I'm not against coaches holding players accountable for their mistakes, or lack of effort, or refusal to be team players, but were any/all of these the reasons? It just seems strange that Saleh presumably signed off on acquiring him, and then ignored him.
his big catch was a classic mahomes scramble and dart. took him 6 seconds to get open. the return was nice but gipson had a TD in the opener in overtime to win it. I got nothing against hardman, but he's a better fit there then he is with us
Oh yeah--agreed--just saying it was good to see him have some success. Feel good story but in the context of "bad signings" guess it doesnt fit lol
I don't think it was a bad signing. he was signed cheap as a WR4 (GW, lazard, davis, ahead of him) as the gadget guy/returner. we got lucky in finding gipson who won the job at returner and as the gadget guy who is cheaper and younger. somehow cobb also passed him when CD retired. and we didn't really have a place for him.
