I expect the Jets to be a winning team this year, if they don’t end up one win over .500 I need to see changes with CS. There is no excuse why this team with the current FA signings and a good draft can’t get some wins under their belt. They better not win 5 games this year and think that’s progress. I’m not buying it.
tell him he has just made himself look like a dumb fuck on the net and give him a swift slap in retribution.
I can’t really take this that seriously because again, you’re source for this is someone who told you Tomlinson wasn’t even starting when he hasn’t NOT started a single game since 2017.
Pass rusher at 4. We don't always pick this high, especially without a need at qb. You'll rarely be able to get an elite pass rusher in free agency, and this year's draft has top end talent.
How many wins did you predict for the season? This should definitely give you a little more hope that they can top it. It's a very good start. A lot still hinges on Wilson.
between Vera-Tucker & Tomlinson they have invested too much into the guard position. Roster management is important, the goal is to win football games not have a position like guard you can brag about upgrading.
I predicted 5. I still don't see much more than that as its going to take time integrating these new parts into MLF and Ulbrich's systems. I see a more competitive Jets roster but wins comes from experience playing within and familiarity with the systems deployed. We may not win 7 games, but it won't be near as ugly as last year. At least it better not be.. No playoffs though. We are still the weakest team in the AFCE even with the new additions. Closing in on MIA, but still nowhere near the Bills or the Patriots as no team is standing pat. Maybe 2023 we see the playoffs.
I don't think that his job us on the line. They probably have a d-line player in mind to replace what they have lost. Chill, he has a plan.
No Problem, heard the NFL is even going to make some pink ones for womens recruitment... errr Breast Cancer Awareness Month too... players union shot down the spikes though
No, they are managing the position correctly. They have one veteran with a price tag and one rookie on a cheap contract. Interior offensive and defensive linemen have become more valuable as teams have started focusing on the shortest route to the quarterback. Keep in mind that these guards will play all of the snaps on offense if healthy.
it's 1 year 1.5 mil for a reliable RB who knows the system and is our best blitz pickup RB. at that price it's hard to complain
your friend is either trolling you or an idiot. tomlinson is a beast, was a pro bowler last year. top 10 OG in the NFL who knows the system already. he's one of the guys I wanted to go after and been saying we should sign him since the season ended. he also hasn't missed a game in 5 seasons. doesn't get injured hasn't even been listed on an injury report since 2016. all niners fans I know were sad to see him leave
