I just did some rough clearing in the front, so people can walk, if there is anyone out there that needs to.

No use in getting it ready for inspection, until after the snow stops.

I measured in a few spots in the back yard.

Got a couple of readings at 15 inches, and a couple at 17 inches. I really don't have any drifts in the back.

I will say this. Looking at current radar I'm very impressed how the cold air is beating back the snow sleet rain line.
Here is the next story in this storm and it might have getting between just 3 inches or close to 10 more inches for many
All future casts and most models say the next 4 hours will bring a change for NYC and nnj....a change that could last 9 to 12 hours.
I'm watching that line. It moves north and west and gets beaten back. The line is supposed to win before 10pm
I believe it will for parts of LI. But does it go into nj and NYC and if it does how long before back to snow.
If it remains mostly snow...over 20 easily.
Will anyone hit 30 ...i think yes

I’m in sc, I’d rather have that snow. Atleast that much would definitely keep us home (anything over a dusting is the apocalypse here). It’s rainy miserable and in the 30s here.

Wish we had someone in Atlantic city. I would love to confirm my radar. Showed a change to rain for two hours now back to snow.
If that's correct....cold air is winning. Many in nj will maybe get a brief hit of sleet. But mostly snow.
Heavy bands of snow about to enter nnj and lower Hudson valley. Heavy snow in central nj sleet in central LI. AREAS just west of the Poconos getting buried right now. Even southern nj is showing deep color on radar... Heavy snow. Heavy snow falling just west of philly.
Amazing circulation just of the coast of Maryland... Just throwing precip into Jersey and NY. Much of pa east of Williamsport getting at least moderate snow.
    Impressive little bastard.

One last thing. Don't mean to bust anyone's balloon... CBG lol. Jk.
At some point overnight or tom morning precip will lighten up.
Although models are showing the end of flakes flying AT 10 AM WEDNESDAY... that's correct....nws us only calling for 1 to 3 tomorrow but it also is saying mixing.
One thing I really believe will happen is this...yeah it will not fall like today. But a wide band will setup and drop much heavier snow then the rest are getting. That usually sets up NW of center of circulation. And far away from center. ÑW Jersey? Hudson Valley? My guess one of those 2. So while many eek out another 3 to 6 ...the band will drop double that.

I saw something today that said our area could possibly see the coldest weather in 3-4 years starting next Sunday night. Right now the forecast says around 32 at night, but if the Arctic blast makes it here , we could see over night temps in the teens. Ugh
