Gonna be nasty here tomorrow. Heavy rain, severe storms and a tornado threat. Then abnormally cold (for us).

Lost a 50’ pine tree last nite. Uprooted. Got lucky it went down where it didn’t hit anything. I’ll be running the chainsaw the rest of the weekend

My position on snow has shifted a bit. No more giant storms but if we can maintain 4-5” on the ground the rest of the winter that would be perfect. My beagle doesn’t run well in a foot of snow

Fjay let your beagle know that I don’t run like I used to on a foot of snow either it might cheer the pooch up that said my position has not changed , Bring It . In other news lots of trees down in my area and many people are without power right now. My neighbor lost 1 tree and it took out 2 cars of his, if it had fallen at 3 o’clock instead of 12 it takes out their house,,,,, cars can be fixed

I cancelled my offshore trip for tomorrow nite/ Sunday. 4ft seas and temps no higher than 40deg makes for a rough, unpleasant afternoon.

New Years Eve and Day/ morning could be hairy travel for many as this could be a sleet or freezing rain event for a few hours which would suck. It was looking like only Fjay and people Noth n West of him would have this fun but now it appears that I might be lucky enough to get some of this mess as well,,,,,,if it is not going to be snow then give me wet over ICE any day----still time lets see how this plays out

Donger ,,,Happy Holidays brother------as of yesterday it looked like it would stay well Northn n West as in maybe Fjay would possibly miss out and that it would start on his side of 84 but overnight some of the guidance is trending colder and more South of that so IMO we are all going to have to keep an eye on this for now as it is still 2 and half days away. Im sure others will chime in with thoughts they always do :)

here's what I got,,,,,tomorrow afternoon could be slick in some place N n W of the city,,,,,,especially north of 84 and the higher elevations,,,,,so keep this in mind if you are traveling home from work or to friends or family. After dark looks like most of us get rain as it looks warmer,,,,,,after this keep an eye on Monday
