Brrrrr... You are a brave man. Well, unless you mean a trip up 95 to visit one of the dozens of great Portuguese seafood joints in RI. I stay off the water from last week of August to late May. It was different before I hit 50 but I get insta-chill now when the wind starts blowing and the sun goes behind a cloud.
Believe it or not, the water is usually warmer than the air. That's why its often warmer out on the water.

This Sat / Sun is still lurking as the Models trend East and areas N n W of NYC could be looking at snow but there is also something else lurking on the models on or around the 8th give or take a day,,,,just keep that in mind you snow luvers and fishing fools
This weekend looks to warm. I think Albany sees snow, the rest of us get rain. Next Tuesday/Wednesday could be a small event , 2hr delay for the kiddos? And then warm and rain again for the weekend ?

Oh, I get that, however my den is guaranteed to be high 60's and the best I'd get out on the water is high 40's this time of year.
You guys think I hate Gase ? He has nothing on these weather models as the Euro yesterday and this morning was talking a storm and this afternoon the Euro and all other models said "what storm " = I hate the models I hate the models----> this winter although it just began --> blows
I'll have to check that out. My first thought is, do you remember the farmers in moat movies that chew tobacco and grow corn, have pigs and all that? Suspenders, flannel, the whole deal... thats a hoosier I think.
