It's 60 in Valley Stream today no way it sticks, probably the same crap on grassy surfaces

 

Looking for anywhere from 2-6" out here... Thnx snow guys!!!!

 

So, looks like for the next 10 days, it's going to rain around 8 of them. Yay.

 

1 to 3 inches for me. I thought we were done with this. Oh well. I need to sacrifice CBG to goat Gods.

Well, I guess the Codfish will have to wait until Mid-April thanks to yet another insertion of cold water into the inshore Atlantic.

 

Currently in Halifax nc, looking at a 2 am arriival time. I think I have the storm beat by an hour but it may be close

 

Fjay,,I hope so my brother you are cutting it close. Looks like the rates could be heavy once it begins,,,,did you go 95 or venture 26/ 77/81 inland ? That inland route is much more scenic than boring 95 but it just blows in pouring weather or worse snow, very hilly ,,,,drive safely

@CBG , I am home and unpacked. 35f very cloudy. Snow expected any minute. Took 95 for the last time . 81/77 is going to be my go to route. Crawled into and out of the dc/Virginia area again. Between the metro traffic and the tolls I think it’s a push.
Gonna get a couple of hours of sleep, I’ll report in snow fall in later morning

 

Glad you made it home,,,,that inland route is definitely more scenic but In bad weather it blows,,,I have been on those mountains in bad weather it sucks especially if you get stuck behind a truck but I hear you about 95. I dread the drives home (see next weekend ) I hear its snowing in most places right now and sticking,,keep me posted guys Im not in the game for this one. PS whatever does stick will melt quickly

 

snow #'s are all over the place right now some places have a dusting others have 5 inches,,,I hope they can get the Yankee game in ,,, snowing pretty good in the Boogie Down as I type,,,,crickets in here whats doing guys ?

 

Mayor TheBozo suspended alternate side parking all winter for a stupid dusting or no accumulation at all and now with a major snowstorm and roads completely clogged we have to circle around for non existent parking. These people are complete morons

 

5 inches on my deck, and still coming down wet and relatively hard.

 

Madison at 4 inches and still snowing. Schools have delayed opening.

 

Valley Stream snowing steady nothing to shovel all on grass and non paved surfaces

 

Matt looks like some heavy bands are over LI,,,,,,ps Im told that Queens / Whitestone is snowing hard

 

There's like 2" on the grass CBG, how much longer will it snow?

 

I think until 10 a .m ...moving real fast but snowing real hard in many places even Manhattan
